The Mid Line development brings together 8K Construction, CHCURC, and Over-the-Rhine Community Housing in a joint effort to deliver 57 thoughtfully designed apartments for residents earning at or below 60% of the Area Median Income. Positioned at the intersection of Vine and Polk Streets, the site marks the transition between the CUF neighborhood and Mt. Auburn, with strong support from both local Community Councils.

The project combines preservation and new construction, featuring the rehabilitation of a historic structure alongside a new residential building. Sustainability is a key priority, with the development pursuing LEED Silver certification or higher.

Residents will benefit from a highly connected location with easy access to jobs, neighborhood amenities, and public transit options. The development will offer a range of unit types—from efficiencies to three-bedroom apartments—each equipped with laundry access or in-unit washer/dryer hookups. Additional amenities include on-site management, space for supportive services, secure bike storage, outdoor gathering areas, and direct proximity to the new Bus Rapid Transit corridor.
